Les Douvres - Guernsey Hotel
Les Douvres is a former 18th century manor house ideally situated in the quiet parish of St Martin's in the south east corner of Guernsey and referred to by many visitors as the most beautiful part of island.
Despite recent renovations "Les Douvres" exudes warmth and character with the aim to please the local community and holiday-makers alike : a traditional inn within a modern country house hotel.
A great wine list, good beers and some excellent local food which is, wherever possible, local and seasonal, complimented by 20 rooms decorated in a mix of modern and antique furnishing.
A review from some of our recent guests:
"Dear Fellow Travelers,
We enjoyed our stay at the Douvres Hotel at the beginning of May very much. The rooms and service were very good, there was English and continental breakfast, always with fresh fruit and a satisfying menu in the pub. The location was excellent a there are 2 bus stops in the near surroundings and you could start your excursions direct from the hotel and in a 20 minutes walk you could reach the cliffs to walk along there. The staff was very polite and helpful in any situation if you had any troubles. Thank God - we didn't have any. We can really recommend a stay there.

While we're more than happy for patrons of the bar and restaurant to bring along their furry friends when dining outside Les Douvres Hotel does not allow pets in doors
